Yes! I always provide my clients with a pre-shoot consultation and strongly encourage them. Through these consultations, we can discuss headshots styles and Looks types you're interested in shooting as well as any general questions you might have.
The more prepared we both are heading into your shoot, the better the results will be!
Consultations are available via Zoom, Skype or phone.
When shooting headshots, I feel it is important to create an environment that is both comfortable as well as collaborative. These are YOUR headshots. The more enjoyable the experience is for you, the better these shots will turn out.
In my studio space, I have everything from a private changing area, clothing rack (and steamer), snacks, beverages and even a bluetooth setup for you to DJ. We will discuss each Look option and examine the backdrops here in the studio to figure out our shooting order.
I always accept payment at the end of each shoot. You will then receive your proofs via email within 24 hours. Once you have made your edit selections, I will begin the re-touching process and deliver the final shots as quickly as possible.
I deliberately do not set time limits on my photoshoots. Depending on the amount of Looks (and Hair & Makeup), my headshot shoots generally last around 2-3 hours on average.
A look consists of a clothing and background change during a photoshoot. For actors, Looks are divided into two categories: Commercial & Theatrical. Through these Looks, you can develop specific character types or genres you would like to portray to casting directors and agents.
I generally shoot between 75-100 shots per Look.
Proofs are always delivered within 24 hours of the shoot date.
Once you have selected your shots for editing, it can take up to a week for the final edits to be completed and delivered for the Standard (3 Edit) Package. The Callback & Portfolio packages often take longer to edit and we can discuss the exact timeframe after you lock in your final selections.
Absolutely. On the rare occasion that your final edits require additional work, the first set of notes (and the corresponding re-edit) will always be complimentary. For every subsequent round of notes, you will be charged $25 for every additional re-edit.
Payment is always due on the day of the photoshoot and options include cash, check, credit card, PayPal, Venmo or Zelle.
